I’d never make it in the Bean Spitting part of the competition. I love coffee too much and would chew the bean I was given rather than waste it.
Shortly before I left Florida in 2008, there was a coffee “brew off” in Daytona Beach, where all the local “artisan” coffee roasters made their personal signature blends (much like a chili cook off) to be judged by the public. Some of them were actually very good coffee.
Another wholesome story I’ve heard involving a cow is when a cow befriended a leopard. The truth in these stories are always hazy, some sources say that the cow has been taking care of the leopard ever since it was an orphaned cub so the leopard thinks the cow as its mother, but there’s some that say that story is made up and no one actually knows why the leopard isn’t hunting the cow but instead befriending it.
Either way, the cow and leopard’s relationship is unique as in the photos you can see the leopard snuggling up against the cow. You can draw conclusions yourself if you search it up.
hmm, I found a cure for Chaetophobia in my fifties. Just kept brushing my head till I didn’t find loose hair anymore. no hair no fear. have you hugged your cow today? I use to give all the calves a hug every day when I was a kid on the farm. sorry, I have a phobia about fingernails. probably brought on by my mother making me trim them when I threatened to ‘scratch your eyes out’ to people. Once I found out how good coffee beans tasted I’ll never spit ’em out, just chew them up. I decoyed a duck once but was always too afraid to decoy a cop. (man another phobia I have had to deal with – maybe I should see a phobia doctor, but then I am fearful of doctors)

I’m 20 miles from Stoughton and this is the first I’ve heard of the coffee break festival.

Did Wisconsin even have its Coffee Break Festival last year? Is/did/will it have one this year?

Can you imagine living with someone who’s always practicing their bean spitting—inside??

If spitting beans was a team sport, the team’s name could be the Salivation Army.

Sure hope they’re not using Kopi Luwak beans for that spitting contest!

Huh. My sister-in-law is super grossed out by hair as soon as it’s detached.
