Tonight I have yet another story from the annals of True. However, before I get started, I think we all know we have a new troll on board. Please, everybody – no matter how insulting or political he gets, just ignore him. Trolls feed on our indignation and crave our reaction, so whatever you do… DON’T FEED THE TROLL.

    On to tonight’s true story:

A dentist has been advertising on local radio that he can help you “overcome your insurmountable fear of dentistry.” I was amused, of course. How does one overcome the insurmountable? Later that week I had an appointment to get my teeth cleaned, so I told my hygienist about the spot, emphasizing the word “insurmountable.” She nodded and said, “Oh, that’s good.”

I was taken aback; I thought she would laugh. “Uh, do you know what ‘insurmountable’ means?” I asked her.

“Oh, that’s like a really big fear, right?”

“Um, right,” I conceded. We went on to other topics…

If I was Mr. Banyai, after being run over with an SUV I’d probably be referred to as “Attila the Not So Hung.” (rimshot)

Wow, looks like we got the large-print edition of Ripley’s today. They must’ve received a lot of complaints about the font size.

Texas is also home to the only state in the Union that can’t keep the power on when folks need it the most. Actually, thanks to deregulation, that’s just one of many bad things the state is home to (like storing explosive chemicals next to schools).

Now that they’ve improved the font size and readability problem, let’s hope they improve the art work.

As far as the “BBQ” goes, I would guess that if there is only one person, by the time you finish the rounds your meat is done. I’m kidding I know it a 2-person job (still just kidding) but I would wonder haw many it really takes to do it.

No mention as to how many tons of charcoal that thing needs, or how many people it employs

Info about the BBQ – Source: https://www.countrythangdaily.com/undisputable-cuz-worlds-biggest-bbq-pit/

A portion of the above article:

The Undisputable Cuz isn’t just for show though. The couple attends several cookouts and cookoffs and helps out their community by smoking barbeque and giving them out for free to their town’s local first responders such as the law enforcement troops, fire department, and everyone who comes out to protect their town. They are friends with many of the townspeople and all of them are welcome for a toast.

By taking advantage of the portability of their truck, they served the community by bringing it in the Galveston army to feed the veterans and the homeless for Thanksgiving. They also helped out the in relief operations when they were hit by Hurricane Harvey where they fed 55,000 people in 11 days. They were also hired once to serve hauls of briskets in the 2015 inauguration of Texas’ new governor Abbott.

And it was up for sale (this article was from 2014):

Recent news though reported that the family is now selling the Undisputable Cuz for $350,000. They stated that they want to move on with their current life and take their money back. Folsom said that once someone or a rich person brings him a certified cheque, they can immediately take the truck out and own it, but not before talking to his wife about it.

There must be a similar ratio in Illinois as in Uruguay. I mean the state capitol is full of cow – - – -
