There were 3 moles living in a hole…

One day, they wake up to the smell of pancakes cooking.

The first mole sticks his head out of the hole and says “I smell pancakes!”

The second mole sticks his head out of the hole and says “I smell syrup!”

The last mole tries to stick his head out of the hole, but gets stuck behind the other two, so he says “All I smell is molasses.”

Most anybody can slice 14 tomatoes in under a minute. But it wouldn’t be a pretty sight.

Years ago, I read that the mole’s relative, the shrew, must eat heartily every hour or so, or it will starve to death.

Well, the tomato one is pretty easy to believe. The sandwich one made me feel hope that it was delivered to needy people. The mole one is interesting info but also one of the strangest drawings I’ve seen here.

This fastest eater thing, did they consider how big the meal is/was? I once swallowed a fly (identified after swallowing so not time added there) and wasn’t hungry for days.

FWIW, star-nosed moles are primarily insectivores.
