Math was always Greek to me. I was just learning “Arithmetic” in grade school when they switched to “The New Math.” Got me totally confused. And from what I’ve seen, they’ve changed how they teach math again.
Well, this rates right up there with showing that 64 divided by 16 = 4 (write 64/16 and cancel the sixes) and the classic “proof” that 1 = 2 (here, for example: https://www.math.toronto.edu/mathnet/falseProofs/first1eq2.html)
