Judging you, crab. Judging you hard.

You’re orange, dishonest, and greedy. You should run for office. Oh wait. You did. You’re the mayor.

Time for a crab bake

A judge will do that.

You’d prefer he’d do it out in the open? Because Hawthorne will do that.

Now nobody will want them back.

Everyone is naked in this strip (A word with an obvious double meaning here).

Hawthorne is trying to get the scent of money all over him, kind of like a dog rolling on something dead. Money does have a definite stink about it. I was a cashier for a while. That smell would cling to everything and my hands would get filthy.

Go ahead, judge him. Judge everyone who says “don’t judge me.” Those are the only ones who need to be judged.

You’re dead meat now, Hawthorne! Or rather, you’re crab meat!

I don’t think that anyone is going to want their dollars back….

Well, Hawthorne, you’re the one standing around nude holding a clipboard and intruding on other people’s privacy while taking on the role of unelected, unappointed, unrecognized enforcer. But I don’t judge!

Failing to judge others is why con artists succeed.
