He needs the GPS to be able to tell the tow truck where his car is.

It’s why I’m never lost. Someone (or something!) is always telling me where to go.

Doesn’t everybody, Grog? It’s kinda impersonal when you’re arguing with it if it doesn’t have a name. I named mine after my ex - Bxxxh

Undoubtedly more reliable than a wife, who, backseat drives, there should be a special prison for such a person.

rather ironic having ameiia as a navigational device…. ….as in Ameila Earhart , famously lost in the pacific in 1935

I named mine Heather. She is SUCH a nag.

Our first GPS was not one of the ones that could “recalculate” a route easily. It was a constant source of hysterical laughter on our parts

FishStix, how does a person turn off the one in the right seat? I find that leaving the GPS nag lady ON helps tone down the other one a little (except when the GPS suggests I may be exceeding the speed limit)! LOL

Our GPS is named “Mandy” - the voice chosen for use by the GPS. You can download other voices (like George Bush - who will say that you have arrived at your “destification”), and the voice has a “name” assigned to it. Or…you can call it whatever you want!
