One day, my Uncle brought his Austin A30 to my Dad to have him look it over, complaining that it was hard to start. He left it with him and took the bus home. Dad couldn’t get it started, so called his cousin, a mechanic, to help him find the problem…they found SEVEN things wrong that would absolutely prevent the car from running. How did my Uncle even drive it there? This was typical of the kind of impossible things he did while driving. We just figured he must have had a team of Guardian Angels with him at all times.
Quite a long time ago, I bought a Ford Escort from a local garage. One of my earlier cars. The engine was making a really rough sound that worried me. As it was still under its warranty, I drove it back to the garage – really slowly as I was worried it would die on me. The funny thing was that the engine actually did die on me on the way there, so I put it into neutral and coasted down the road as I was nearly there. I somehow got to the garage, coasted over the entrance lip with the final dregs of its momentum and onto the forecourt. I then went into reception and told them that my engine had died and I wanted it fixed under warranty. They wouldn’t listen to me for a while as they stated they’d just seen me drive it in, so I must be winding them up

The smoke looks like he’s burning oil. He probably has bad gaskets which is not unexpected for a car this old.

If Cosmo is able to fly, why does he need that car?

at a quick glance, it looked like he said “overeating”, which wouldn’t actually surprise me, being Cosmo’s car an’ all….
