Say it again for you…you guys have given me back memories of Special Forces time, and yeah, you’re wonderfully weird…but not THAT far out of the box, either. Just read a year of your work today, and thanks very much. Every guy in our outfit had secret abilities…seriously. Strength, silver tongue, nine varieties of karate, sweet ways with small bombs, disguises, ability to f*** up in several languages…and get totally away with it…except sometimes. My secret powers were modest…I played bugle at some special peoples’ funerals, guitar around fires other places…people liked and trusted me and stitched my name on a bar ceiling that dissed me with uzis…total trust: I lined up the entire ‘B’ team and gave them all their shots and made whoever thought I stuck them wrong give me MINE…and I held the pinochle pool, which was sometimes pretty significant…had too much morph on handand as many bennies as would fit in a rucksack and we got a lot of work done.
I guess I’m validating that there were strange wonderful people like your characters, even the transvestite psychologist…anyway, thanks again. I feel right at home in your show-world. You validate me…
