Haven’t heard it called ‘pop’ in a while. Reminds me of home.

I have an adult son who insists on saying “soda.” I keep telling him “You’re a Minnesotan in Minnesota. It’s ‘pop’.”

I lived in Michigan for 17 years and everyone else there always said “pop,” but I have always called it “soda” like we say here is SoCal.

“Coke” in the south. Unless it is Dr. Pepper, then it is DP.

Got Michigan on one side and Minnesota on the other and here in Wisconsin it’s soda.
