When I irritate my wife, which happens on occasion, I remind her that she would miss me if she left me. After 38 years, she may be ready to roll the dice and take her chances!

This is a sports comic. Proper phrasing would be “ she voided her lifetime contract and filed for free agency “

Pat Moran.Died 1924.Managed 1915 pennant winning Philliesand 1919 Cincinnati Reds(the HONEST team in the fixed World series).

After that, mostly finished second to John McGraw’s New York Giants. One day,the Reds were getting the snot beat out of them by the Giants.

One of those old stunt bi-planes flew over the ballpark, and Moran(who was short and fat) ran onto thefield at top speed and yelled—-“Come down here, you!COme down here and I’ll give you a big load of pitchers!”

When I am losing a discussion, which pretty often, I always close it with “Remember you married me,” I always try and say that as I exit the room, car, or house.
