The current Yankee Stadium doesn’t meet the field dimension standards set by MLB. Ballparks built after 1958 are supposed to be at least 325 down each line and 400 feet to CF, or other point if there is one farther than that of CF. Outfield dimensions can be shorter, but only if there are features (AT&T Park’s 24-foot high wall, the 21-foot wall in Pittsburgh, etc.) that compensate for it. Yankee Stadium has no such compensating feature. Why did MLB allow this?
