A March 2003 legal opinion by the Bush Administration says Pentagon tortures are sanctioned by a new principle: (Woman: U.S. Law and Geneva ban torture. But the doctrine of necessity permits it!) (Bush: Those are 7 magic syllables!) Experts call the "Doctrine of necessity" revolutionary. (Man: I can do whatever I want yet remain immune from liability as long as I believe that my acts are designed to avoid greater harm.) Any American may avail himself or herself of the right to play God. (Man 2: I murdered them under the doctrine of necessity. You can't touch me!) (Man 3: Damn- he's right!) Conflicts, if any, will be settled by the courts. (Man 4: I hereby shoot you for the greater good.) (Man 5: If anyone's gonna shoot anyone for the greater good, it'll be me shooting you.) (Man 6: You're both dead. Greatest good! Greatest good!)
