Disgusted by Wimpy Democrats, antiwar liberals threaten to withdraw their political support. (Man: No more getting taken for granted!) (Woman: We're outta here!) (Man 2: Send 'em a "Dear John" manifesto!) But the party establishment pronounces itself unimpressed. (Man 3: It's a two-party system! Where else can they go?) This time, however, angry leftists stop bluffing and pledge fealty to the Republican party. (Man 4: We won't compromise on our wars, but we will cut the sales tax on hemp and preachy bumper stickers.) (Woman: Finally- a party I don't expect to address my concerns!) The ad hoc antiwar/prowar alliance hardens into permanence, but other factions are restless. (Television: Tired of being ignored, right-wing Christian fundamentalists are feeling the Republican Party. You'll miss us! You'll see!)
