Ted Rall for December 26, 2012
Transcript:
Grief counselors and child psychiatrists from throughout Waziristan gathered to console the survivors of the U.S. drone attack. (Woman: Bad news: Your whole family done got blown up. Good news: NGO Teddy Bear!) Parents received techniques to help children handle the tragedy. (Man: If they cry, hit them. If hitting them makes them cry, hit them harder.) Kids are encouraged to go back to their usual routines. (Man 2: Normalcy matters. They need to see that death goes on, that tomorrow is another drone, another day.) A makeshift memorial provides comfort. (Man 3: People are gathering or a memorial service.) (Man 4: Hellfire 'em!)
