And mine want their treat right meow! Belle is giving me the stink eye, Tinker just jumped on the desk and turned her back to me, and Mr. T is even pushing on my mouse hand, so I best go get it for them. Have a great Friday!

Poor Bowser. The Spain style pain is mainly in the brain.

LadyKat, I was so sorry to hear about your accident! Hope you’re feeling better very soon! This kitty says, “I feel your pain. And pass the raw steak!”

I’ve never been to Spain, but I kind of like the music.

LadyKat, I hope you both are well, that doctor was serious, I don’t want to scare you but the risk of a subdural hematoma is a possibillity. Quickest way to check is pupil response.I nursed an ex-girlfriend through a double after she was knocked to the ground by a large stray dog she was trying to rescue. Here in the deep south of NY I keep several pairs of strap on ice spikes handy for the inevitable icy driveway slopes of winter. They’ve saved my posterior more times than I can count. I’m 6’4" 240 lbs when I fall it’s like a tree coming down, indeed, gravity is a harsh mistress.I see you live in Barrie, I visited an auto museum there in 1977 on my way to a 2 week camping and canoeing trip in the Algonquin Preserve.

What a coincidence! It’s Casual Calico Friday over on “Off the Mark”, too.

Ruth, I do believe the calico rules apply to all cats!

I made 8 dozen shortbread cookies last week and Paul ate them all! I told him I was not amused! I might make him some peanut butter cookies later today if he asks me really nicely.

I would like to thank everyone who has wished me well over the past couple of days. I have no concussion, leg is OK, scrapes on left hand and black eye are clearing up. I am sure all the kind words from all of you had something to do with me healing so quickly.

@unicornstar—A calico has its colors on a light background, a tortoiseshell has its colors on a dark background.

I expect to be saying goodbye to my very old siamese Wilson today. He has developed several symptoms over the last few days that indicate his body is shutting down and I don’t want to prolong any pain. And the lady who insisted she wanted Petey, formerly known as Miss Autumn, fell in love with 2 kittens at her local shelter and her husband now says no more. I am trying to be happy that 2 shelter kitties got homes…

Tortoiseshell cats generally combine two colors other than white. And Calico cats are Torties with white added.

This is correctly called “tortoiseshell with white” so state of Maryland needs a new photo.

Ten Cats – not nice to the poor dog. At least you could probably outrun the bulls if you did the run with the bulls thing in Spain.l

These two (mother & daughter) are the closest I’ve got to calico cats, both are Tortie and White. Jodie is the short haired mother, and Ruff is her long haired daughter. Ruff’s sister Tumble (Ruff & Tumble) is an ‘off the shoulder Tuxedo’ who I posed a couple of days ago. Both Jodie and Ruff passed several years ago, Jodie of cancers and Ruff of kidney failure.

These naughty Ten Cats (Chesney and Jack Soames) need to be nicer to Bowser!!

Great comments and pics today again.

#Jessebegooddoggy….I’ve done that twice and it is heartbreaking…but at least I CAN stop their suffering. Head up and I’ll keep you and Wilson in my thoughts.
