Pam should not have to put up with that S##t and I know I wouldn’t. Move the old lady to a room with someone else who wants to sweat it out and complain about all the visitors as well.

Has she complained? She certainly SHOULD!This situation could hamper her recovery.

Not nice to gloat – as you are going to find out. I don’t think this dog is going to fly.

PAMCOMPLAIN!!!!! You should not have to put up with this. Once I was in a room where my “roommate” didn’t want me to have any flowers or visitors, I COMPLAINED and they moved me! TALK to your Doctor!!!

PAMTell your Dr, that the lack of AC is gonna set back your recovery!!!

Hope everyone has a great Caturday tomorrow. Puppy should definitely say something to the rehab people about the old bat. I’ll be on the road tomorrow for about 15 hrs until we get to my Mom’s place in Florida. I’m hoping Erica will hold off or change course. Hugs y’all. Rose >^..^<

@GweedoDon’t pay any attention to Jonathan. I’ve had a couple of run ins with him on other strips, he likes to bombast and try to bully. Sort of like Archie Bunker, but dumber.

Pam should speak up, I am sure if they have another room available, she can be switched! My mom was a Registered Nurse for over 40 years and that would not have been tolerated in the hospitals where she worked, Walter Reed Army Hospital and our local hospital.

Gweedo: This the first I’ve been on-line today and am very disturbed with Pam’s situation. If she can’t or will not complain about her situation I would appreciate having the phone # of her rehab place and put in a word or two on her behalf. I too have seen similar situations with incompatible room mates and any institution worth it’s salt will TRY to resolve this. I fear she may have a set back.

PamComplain to the head nurse, maybe ask to be discharged early or sign yourself out. Different room for either of you is a possibility, also. You surely do not need any possible setbacks at this stage of your fantastic (so far) recovery..

@Gweedo ’Pam’s Guardian Angel’: as others have suggested, Pam should raise the roof. It is totally unfair for her to have to deal with the current situation. Maybe pray will help. Have a peaceful night my friends.

Last year my husband had to be at a rehab (nursing home) facility. He was put in a room with a 90 y/o man who wanted the heat up up up! His equally old wife was always there and he was really nasty to her. Also right by the door. He complained and got moved to a room where he was by a window he could slide open and no roommate for 4 days, but he was a very quiet nice man. All was well. Get well soon Puppyface!! Nothing makes me pissyer than being hot!! Cooling down up here in the PNW. Yay!!
