People not allowed to work because of this stupid coronavirus thing are ignoring stay at home orders and are going stark raving mad – in the Walmart stores. A part of me says I should relish my days off away from people and not do overtime hours, but the other part of me says I can handle this – I’ve got this and I can really use the extra money. Here’s a part of the craziness we see every day:
A LOT of people are bringing their kids in the store and letting them run all over the store. Many of these people don’t seem to be shopping for anything important. Instead, they’re buying toys for their kids (who probably already have more toys than they need) and all sorts of things that could easily wait a few weeks or months until things settle down.
Shoplifting & stealing are up. One guy took a TV from the electronics department and tried to “return” it for a refund. The associate at the service caught on easily to his ploy and while she was telling me about it and laughing, the woman who was next in line trying to “return” a couple items turned tail and rushed out of the store, leaving her items on the counter. So she was stealing too!
There was a guy in electronics who coughed on an associate and the jokingly told her he has coronavirus.
And then there was the idiot in stationery on Sunday who poured a bunch of clear glue on the floor. I didn’t see it and I stepped smack dab in the middle of the mess. Maintenance guys cleaned it up and got rid of the rest of the bottle of glue. Then on Monday, in the same spot, some idiot (probably the same one) poured clear laundry detergent and more clear glue all over the tri-fold display boards and onto the floor.
I’m getting to the point where I feel like everybody (except the people here at Ten Cats) are complete and utter morons with no more brains than God gave a flea. What is wrong with people these days?

Okay, rant over – thanks for listening.
