Also from yesterday’s comments – to JAY REIDER – I’m glad you liked the music in my video. Actually, that was a CD I was playing. I do listen to a classical music station though. Growing up, I never really appreciated classical music. I saw it only as something our music teachers forced us to listen to. I liked rock music. I still do like rock, but I don’t listen to it a lot now. I used to listen to the “oldies” rock station, but they started playing a lot of the same songs I kept hearing day after day at work – songs I hated, like 80’s & 90’s stuff (Justin Beiber makes me want to barf!). One day, when my car was out of commission, I borrowed my sister-in-law’s car. Her radio was tuned to the classical music station and I didn’t want to mess up her radio station, so I left it on. I found the classical music relaxed my nerves after a busy, stressful day at work. After that day, I tuned my radio to the station and I started picking up classical music CD’s at library book sales and at rummage sales where I paid $1 or less apiece for them. I really don’t miss that oldies rock station at all. They did too much talking anyway – really dull talk. So I keep it on the classical station or my CD’s.
