Reminds of a summer day around 1963. I remember my mother getting home from work (father was overseas at the time) andmy sister (14) and I (12) met her at the door with “…Chuck (9) did this and Chuck did that (our brother) and something broke and grampa died.” Not a good day for our mother. No wonder she didn’t hug us – see comment in PBS.My sister and I still joke about it.
This morning’s update: I had a solid, uninterrupted 8 and a half hours sleep. Shortly after getting awake and reading the News And Sentinel transportation picked me up for a ride to the next building for an ultrasound EKG when he brought me back to my room for my morning meds, he got notified to take me to a different radiology department where I had a biopsy done while in a cat scanner.
Now I am resting for another hour. I should find out the results of today’s tests later today.
