The birdies had to pull up a lot of…er…spaghetti to make a plate full. ( Was it still moving?)
Our Gov. Issued a new " suggestion " any venue with 4000 people or more in attendance has the ability to say if you aren’t fully vaccinated you can’t attend. There will also be a pop up clinic in the parking lot so you can get vaccinated, then you can enter, wearing a mask. All vaccinated people can take off their masks. The Raiders were the first to agree.
Picked up the kittens at 5:30 yesterday. I was hoping they’re be sleepy. Nope. Bouncing off the walls. They did settle down after about an hour, though.
Take gliding lessons first, Oliver. Just in case get 10 pillows, of various colors, (includes Mimieux,) piled below that nest. Glide over to Laughing Kitty’s home for some birthday cake and sardines.
Uh, yeah, sure, that was spaghetti. Wriggly spaghetti. Oh well, at least the bird was nice to Oliver and tried to help as best as he could . On an other note, saw two butterflies, a dragonfly, four robins, a finch, a rabbit, and three juncos while out walking today.
My daughter and I drove to Memphis today to look at a used (very) Honda Odyssey, a 2008 for $5500. She’s had an ‘02 that she loves, but the transmission is almost toast. She’s been looking for weeks, and planned to go to Savannah to get a 2010 for $8000, but when she said she was bringing cash, the price went up to $10,000 because she wasn’t going to finance it with them. Sheesh! Anyway this was from an owner, not a dealer. He worked at Fed X offices near Costco, so we met there, and Sarah did a test drive down a nearby 6 lane loop where she could floor it and see if the transmission slipped. It didn’t and she bought it. She gave the guy a ride back to work, then we had lunch and drove home. (in a severe thunderstorm, the gully washer kind) We did stop, before meeting the guy, at Trader Joe’s. I brought home two wee boxes of dark chocolate and coconut coated almonds and some actual groceries.

Today is:
National Fajita Day
National Ice Cream Pie Day
National Pinot Noir Day
National Mail Order Catalog Day
Congressional Startup Day
It’s also my birthday. And my cousin Becky’s birthday too. I think she’s about 8 hours older than I am.

Hmm, I was thinking of making spaghetti today. I think I’ll wait a few days. Or a month.
Besides that, this is such a cute comic.

I get the impression that when the bird lies, the branch it’s on lengthens. Better than becoming a toucan, I guess.

I got to see two whales today, in the bay.
It’s been a slow year for me for viewing, because they have been feeding other places than in the bay.
Today a mom and her calf were on the bay. I think that it was the calf that was feeding. :)
