Gosh Annie, they’re cats. They either talk all the time or you’re surprised if the mew once in a while. This bunch are talkers.

Annie needs some quality lap time with Woof.

I get up before my wife, I turn on the lights to read the paper. Motley then gets roused to yowl and howl outside the bedroom door. She is loud!

I have a few cats who are talkers. Cassie is one and she talks a lot. And she passed that trait on to some of her kids. She has 3 daughters – Joy, Beauty and Junebug and 2 sons, Oreo and Ozzie. They are 7 years old now. I can hardly believe they’re already that old! Junebug and Oreo are “tuxedo” cats (black and white – mostly black) and they don’t talk much. Ozzie is mostly white with black spots. He talks mainly when he’s frightened or upset. If he sees me with a cat carrier in my hand, he’s always afraid I’m going to put him in it and he yowls so loudly I’m afraid the neighbors will hear. It’s even worse when I actually am trying to put him in the carrier. Beauty has some Siamese markings with white. Like Ozzie, she talks mainly when she’s upset. But Joy, the one who looks most Siamese talks a lot. And loudly! When I’m on the phone and she starts meowing at me the person I’m talking to can always hear her. Sometimes, my oldest cat. Fluffy, starts to yowl. A sad, mournful sounding yowl. She is 20 years old (maybe older) and in failing health. I don’t think she is going to be with me much longer.

Our boys are pretty quiet except for when they’re wrestling.

I miss having siamese, they seem to talk all day and night. I guess my body decided that it’s 14 hours of sleep on Wednesday should last for the rest of the week. Slept tonight from 11 – 1:30, gave up at 3:30. I don’t expect to be very productive today.

I love Annie Day!!! The cats should bring her a drink and some snacks and the TV remote. A nice massage sans claws of course would also be nice.

Ah, c’mon, cats. Just a synchronized nap period would do.

I am LOLing!

Kitten update. JOY!!!! My daughter phoned. Both she and hubby hoped that I would drive her to CT today!!! Alas, I am tired out and just awoke from a nap. The Little One was allowed the run of all 2nd fl. rooms and later I allowed her to explore the 3rd fl. apt. where my daughter lived for many years. Daughter will be here Tuesday and Wednesday. The heat is now on. Kitten was seen stretched out on top of a radiator lazily looking out a window. Who will take a bet her new parents will drive here and pick her up themselves?

Annie Day sounds like a very good idea. I’m surprised that Chesney is the one mentioning it, though. On another note, saw two varied thrushes and two finches while out walking today.
