Who is visiting our boys at the hospital? Long 14 hour day yesterday, left at 4 am for LA (actually beautiful Pacific Palisades) for my yearly check up with my wonderful doctor of 26 years who survived cervical cancer during covid at age 79! Love her so much I don’t mind the drive. Spent nearly 2 hours at a nursery on the way home picking up summer veggies and flowers that are staying in my car for a few days while we have heavy winds again and a slight possibility of a freeze Sunday night. Last stop, a pint of ice cream from our local shop just opening for the season. Barely got the cold food from Trader Joes put away before I crashed.

Our “deck” of cards had many more aces than that. Also over 400 cards. We were given the cards when they got too sticky for the adults.

Fortunately, Oliver isn’t allowed to handle money.
