Karen needs to exercise her ‘karen-ness’. Don’t give in so easy, lady. THAT"S what he wants and then will go on to harangue and harass your replacements; all 2 dozen of them.

I had a cat like that once. It was embarrassing. I realize she was just frightened, but really?

I wonder how Annie is able to make enough money to pay for vet care for the cats? Vets are very expensive!

For all of you suffering from the heat, I wish I could take some of it from you. No, I don’t want it to be over 100 degrees, but we seem to hover in the 70’s, so I could take 10 degrees from you. And those who need rain – darn it all – I wish I could share our rain with you. We can’t seem to string together more than 2 or 3 days in a row where it DOESN’T rain On Saturday, we got 7 inches of rain in my hometown. Two inches in the morning and another 5 inches in the evening, with tornado warnings and the whole bit. No tornadoes here, but some other towns did get hit. I won’t wish that on anyone, but I sure wish I could share some of this blasted rain. Driving to work yesterday, I saw some corn and soybean fields that had been turned into lakes.

Now what did he do? Spoke with a lady who has been fostering a shepherd I am interested in, we have a tentative agreement to meet next Monday halfway – 2 hours away instead of 4. 65 pounds, needs to gain about 10, and 4 years old. They believe she was used for breeding, then dumped. Very sweet and quick to learn. There is one other shepherd I want to learn more about before I make the final decision.

A girl I worked with had a cat with a notation in its file: “Bites with enthusiasm and extreme conviction!”

Felix would warn the vet. He would tip his his head to the side, ears back and make a grumbling naaam naaam noise. The vet and vet tech would jump away hands in the air. “He’s gonna Bite.” I would then have to keep him calm for the vet.

If she thinks Chesney is bad news, just wait ‘til she meets Lily! (She probably wouldn’t have any trouble with Oliver, though. On another note, saw six juncos, a spotted towhee, a rabbit, a chickadee, two damselflies, a robin, a sparrow, a Wilson’s warbler, two ravens, and two swallows while out walking today.
