I went to Albertsons this morning. Started at the produce section. There was a big box sitting there….and inside was ears of fresh corn! Not cleaned or trimmed, just as they were picked. Which had to be early this morning! Of course I got one, and literally dropped the cleaned ear in boiling water, counted to twenty, took it out and got out the butter! Heavenly!
So he found his poppa! But what about his mamma who raised him and took care of him until he was weaned and ready to eat solid food? That’s who he should really be looking for.
MRI: I called yesterday. My knee doc only does knees and hips. I thought that would be the case so wasn’t totally upset. The nice lady booked me with the shoulder guys’ MA on the 16th. But, here’s the thing: the rotator cuff is fine. The only thing in there is some arthritis and some nerve thing. I think I’m going to tell him or her that unless there’s a really good reason for going under the knife, I think I’ll just leave it be. I only take one gabbepentin a day (at night) for the pain. I’m pain free all day.
Looks like like Chesney finally found his Poppa. (Or maybe his Poppa found him.) Wonder what he looks like. Maybe we’ll find out tomorrow. On another note, saw a Steller’s jay, a chickadee, two rabbits, and four robins while out walking today.
