The Rock Music genre was originally just a reference to where the music was played. “And Roll” was added later as the band was “stoned” by an unappreciative audience and their bodies subsequently rolled down the nearest and deepest crevasse.

So it’s true. Eurydice was one of the original Poynter Sisters.

Imagine if you will,
the overwhelming thrill,
when younger brother Will,
learns of his siblings skill,
In crafting lines of wit,
with which to art works fit,
as captions apropos,
for paintings that do show,
subjects which may although,
have yet but one sole meaning,
become humorous and demeaning!
In awe of he who writes prolific,
The constant jibes which are terrific,
I hold him in the same regard.
As they hold Shakespeare, he ‘the Bard’
His rapier wit and intellect,
Are quick the paintings to dissect,
And when it has been said and done,
We’ve been provided with some fun.
Whilst from his pen there is no dearth,
Of the ceaseless pouring of such mirth,
I commend our mother for his birth.
I’m glad to be his younger brother.
The choice for me would be no other.
He guided me into the light,
Examplar of erudite,
And though I strive to match his skill,
I am aware I never will. . .
