Both were different but they were both also great……

Those of us who were blessed to watch the original ‘Star Trek’ in LIVING color… anxiously anticipating and relishing each new weekly episode… will always be loyal to Capt. James T. Kirk. In my case, I had no actual interest in those who later tried to fill his very big shoes. In a similar manner, my loyalties are to Christopher Reeve as Superman and Michael Keaton as Batman.

I enjoy the differences in the captains. Each one has his/her appeal to me.

I remember my parents taking me to a friends house on a Sunday night to see “Bonanza” on the only TV we knew about.

Kirk is the best even though he doesn’t play by the rules. That’s what makes him the best.

But the BEST Star Trek Captain is Sisko!

I’m on team Picard all the way. I never liked Kirk, not even when he co-starred with Picard in TNG:Generations.
