I agree with Hattie. If the site it calle twitter, it’s a twit. If they are called tweets, the site sould be called tweeter.

I don’t tweet, poke or friend anyone. I send a text message occasionally to wife or kids, but that’s about it. Work requires my wife to have a Twitter account, I suppose I could tweet her. If I decide to poke her it will be in person.

I have a nephew who finally got the guts to ask a girl out in high school, well he had been a follower of her on twitter, she kept playing with her phone and he could see her twits/tweets about how horrible this guy is, how lousy the date is going and how she wants to just leave.

He following these twits/tweets told her to finally leave. Then she got all apologics not realizing that he was a follower and wants to make it up to him but too late I suppose.

TWiT = This Week in Tech and is a successful podcast network. It is older then twitter. They’d love to have Chip Sansom on the Sunday show.

How about a nitwit?

That’s normal vocabulary for Hurricane Hattie.
