The Born Loser by Art & Chip Sansom Giancarlo: Welcome to the Trattoria Di Taddeo! My name is Giancarlo. Giancarlo: Are you ready to place your orders? Wilberforce: I'd like spaghetti with meatballs, a tossed salad, breadsticks and a lemonade. Gladys: I'll have linguine with clam sauce, a Caesar salad and a glass of Chianti. Brutus: And I want fettuccine alfredo, anti-pasto salad and ~ say, aren't you going to write down your orders? Giancarlo: No need for that - I have a photographic memory! Giancarlo: Besides, I can't remember where I put my pad and pencil!
When I was in high school I had a waitress once that served all 30 of us in one room, separate checks, mostly, and got everything right on the first try even when several changed their order. We left her a combined tip of well over $200. It was the best trick of memory I’ve ever seen.
