Yesterday they were best. Today, not so sure, having never experienced such old potatoes. Do baked potatoes really last that long anywhere?

And tomorrow they’ll be rocks.

You really need to find a new place to eat.

Today’s hot dogs are tomorrow’s corndogs.

What is a twice baked potato? (Seriously)

Does anyone else like raw potatoes, or is that just the Irish in me?

Something tells me a third time baked potato would be less charming. Probably very dry and hard as a rock. What do you have on the menu prepared recently?

Lose the beans and that sounds delicious no matter how many times the potato is baked.

The Salisbury steak started out as a ground beef patty, add some gravy and it becomes Salisbury steak. Tomorrow our chef will have a new creation, he calls it “Hamburger Stew with Quadruple Baked Potatoes Au Gratin”.

And the day before that, they were just plain, raw potatoes.

Happens IRL, at least in the US Navy. We would have baked potatoes one day, remainder served as mashed potatoes the next, and french fries made by squishing the potatoes thru a colander the third. By then everyone had wised up and took a serving of the ‘fries’ and dumped them in the trash so we wouldn’t find our what inventive use the cooks could make of them as leftovers.

Hmm, Salisbury steak and a baked potato. It may well be what is for supper.

Poor Brutus will be served a hockey puck with his steak on the blue plate special.

I think those potatoes need to go in the trash… :\

Tomorrow they’ll be burnt.

As long as they’re not half-baked.

And tomorrow they will be home fries for the breakfast special, which I must say that I really do enjoy. Actually, going out for breakfast is probably my favorite meal to go out for. Chicken Fried Steak and sausage gravy with those home fries sound real good right now as I sit here snowed in……

And you’d have to be baked to eat them… ☺

Obviously Brutus isn’t eating in a high class establishment, but at least the waitress does provide fair warning on the quality of the food.

They are starting to look like chucks of coal.

A three day potato?

The diner is hoping that, eventually, someone will eat the potatoes. Maybe they’ll get lucky with Brutus.
