And here’s Hurricane Helene…tonight was horrible. But happy to see you Hattie. My whole house generator sucks! Power would go for a split second…everything in house would reset, after about 30 times I thought…start my generator…would not produce electricity w/o total outage. I turned off central air because I know it causes havoc on the condensor.

“My Pop is so tall…” HOW TALL IS HE! (Usual audience response on Johnny Carson or the Match Game.)

Brutus, you really need to start locking your front door; it’s how Hurricane Hattie and Mother Gargle get in.

Oh Brutus Brutus Brutus when will you learn to not throw those hanging curveballs to all your antagonists. Note to Hattie: get the address of that store because you’re on your way to becoming a regular customer.

If the waist is big enough, the sleeves are too long for Brutus.. and for me.

Honesty in advertising isn’t always appreciated by the consumer, especially when itt deals with a person’s physical appearance. However, in the movie “Back to School”, Rodney Dangerfield played a rich, very successful businessman going to college with his son. His business had Big and Fat in the business name as he was a seller of clothes. So maybe it could work, in the comics that is….

Here in Pensacola zero effects, but they did use our fairgrounds as a staging area for hundreds of powerline repair trucks, for dispersal today to needed areas in the East.

Since we have so many people here today that know a lot about generators and things, maybe someone can help me with a question. My garage door makes awful noise when it goes up. Today I hit the roller area on both sides with a garage door spray out of silicone that has the words “garage door lubricator” on it. The hardware store guy said to spray at the rollers, and I did. The garage door also has hinges, and he said to leave those alone. It’s still making a horrid noise, and I don’t know what to do. (I sprayed twice.) I have a serious ear issue that I can’t get surgery for until around April, and that noise every time I open and close the garage door (it’s electric) is quite painful to hear, even with an ear plug in. Any suggestions? I went all out today and hit up everything appropriate with WD40, Lock-Ease and the garage door spray. It’s generally quieter here and I still need to make sure the front door lock is less sticky. I guess I am today’s female version of a Born Loser since I wasn’t able to quash the loud, loud screeching noise of my garage door. We had wind today about 30 mph, and I am nowhere near the hurricane. Not even close. It’s too soon to even get the tail end of it. It was too windy for eating outdoors, we found that out. I almost lost the top of my sandwich. (good reflexes)
