A “Twinkie”, because of its soft creamy center hidden deep inside, has also become slang for several unrelated kinds of people, depending upon who’s using it.

To some people it’s a mildly offensive term for a “wuss” …a weakling or coward…. which may apply in this cartoon.

It’s used by others in a rather more offensive way to refer to an effeminate gay male …I wouldn’t think Scott would use it that way…but…um…a cowboy and a policeman…my first thought was the Village People….so maybe….
