He has already started a family tree.

The peanut looks a little flat, maybe this is the issue

A peanut sat on a railroad track,

His heart was all a-flutter.

The five-fifteen came rushing by—

Toot toot! Peanut butter!

Dust to dust. Ashes to ashes. Peanut to peanut.

If he was asalted he never would have regrown.

He didn’t have a leg-ume to stand on.Sorry.

Would they be zombie peanuts?

I don’t understand this at all. Aren’t peanuts a root crop? Why the tree?

Some days I spend more time reading comments than comics….when I know a pun run has to occur.

Bugaboo27Not anything like a root. Being a legume, the peanut in the shell is the same as a pea in its pod, just underground as a survival mode. The above ground part is hardly a bush, getting barely over a foot tall and not woody.
