There is a warm towel in the back.

When I was very small, I liked to play in large, empty cardboard boxes. I would pretend they were small houses, or caves, or rocket ships. The best boxes were those that large refrigerators came in.

My father worked the night shift at that time, and when he got off work early in the AM hours, he would drove by the local appliance store to check for big cardboard boxes to sometimes bring home to me.

Such a nice “dad” thing to do. He would cut openings in the boxes to serve as play windows and doors, according to my specifications. I would bring pillows and blankets inside, and often take naps in there.

I liked and appreciated those boxes more than any fancy toys he could have bought me. (Thanks, Dad!)

Our cats will almost immediately get into any empty box left on the floor on their own

If we put them in the box, they will almost immediately get out

Very good one today, as my cat is sleeping in a cardboard box as I write this!

Well, of course he likes it in there…he’s away from the maddening crowd…meow

When I left my previous job (willingly) I took my stuff home in a box used for printer paper. It’s the only box my cat likes.

Cats and little boys all love boxes. But, only cats can fit into the smaller ones.

What a pussy-cat. Short version is banned by the GoComics word police. :)

I am a GOD to our cats. I took 5 boxes, a knife and duct tape and made a multi roomed 4 story box condo for them. Between it an the cat tower we are almost guaranteed to be able to locate one of them at any time.

Don’t anyone throw a ball of yarn onto the floor!!!

And, meanwhile, the players are displaying their butt-holes in typical feline fashion.

The answer is simple. When they clear the bench’s it’s harder to get a good stick on me, and judging from the score, they couldn’t put a puck in cardboard box.
