Boy: Did you get wheels for your Cadillac yet, Mr. Winters? Dusty: 'Fraid not. If I had wheels for it, I'd already be in Clute, Texas, for the Great Mosquito Frestival today... Boy: Are you teasin' me? Dusty: No siree, pardner...the biggest, baddest skeetters are from Texas! Boy: How big? Dusty: Only way you can tell 'em from airplanes is Texas skeeters don't have any numbers on their sides. Boy: Wow!

I’ve heard it said that an Alaskan mosquito landed at an air port, and was fueled up..\\//_

Now there are reports of a skeeter down in Florida the size of a quarter. Just wonderful. That will go well with the gators, giant cockroaches, pythons, multiple species of man eating sharks, lion fish, zombie sink holes that eat you and your house….now children tell me again why it would be so wonderful, if Mom and I move to Florida?

We don’t have extra large skeeters in Texas, just thick clouds of them. Those nasty buggers in Michigan, Minnesota, and Alaska, on the other hand, can carry off a horse…

In Minnesota, only the four engine variety is allowed to carry horses.
