If my migraine medicine had a warning that I had a fifty-fifty chance of dying from taking it, I would still take it. Sometimes the relief outweighs the risk.
I only take just what’s needed, BP meds! The ads on TV repulse me…Pharmaceutical cos are the biggest drug pushers in America! A pill for every ache and pain!
For a while, I was taking Ranexa, a chest pain medication. I started having hallucinations, and found out that that was a potential side effect, one that had only been discovered after it had already been marketed, and it was still way far down on the side effect list. Fortunately, the doctor I saw about the hallucinations knew about Ranexa causing them, and told me to stop taking it. The problem cleared up very quickly after that.
A friend about our age, unlike us, sees doctors regularly. He explained that many of the pills he takes are to compensate for the side effects of the other pills which are to help with his various conditions. One of the pills prescribed for him had ‘death’ as a side effect.
The doctor neglected to mention that caveat, so after he noticed it himself and mentioned it to his doctor of the moment, he gave a supply of the pills to those around him, asking that they put one under his tongue if he suddenly collapsed as a result of forgetting to take one. Apparently, if you stopped taking the pill suddenly, you died.
Yet another reason we stay away from doctors (and pills) as much as possible…
We know we’re going to die. We just want to do it our way. :)

Here, try this cyanide. It is very effective.
Or you could go straight to the bleach.

When I was in the hospital a few years ago, half the meds they gave me were to counter the effects of the other half.

Some warning labels have caused me to put the item back on the shelf. When what it could cause is worse than what you have, why risk it?

If it can’t kill you, it probably can’t help you.

Then make sure you ignore the warnings and 1. Don’t take with food and 2. DO take with alcohol.
