Starting about 5 years ago, wife ‘zoomed’ with college classmates from her class of ’62, [she was late getting into the Zoom thing and I never have bothered with it] but she quit a year ago. I knew she had enjoyed the chats and asked her why. She said they had begun spending most of the time reciting their ailments and medical complaints more so than just chatting about family and their travels, and she was tired of listening. Was not surprised as that seems to be a naturel sequence in the later decades of most lives. Do it myself from time to time, then get tired of hearing myself repeat.
