PBS TV used to have mostly opera and other cultural events that they now show on the occaisions when they have fund raisers. Masterpiece theater (imported from BBC) used to have great dramas like Duchess of Duke Street, I Claudius and many others- even that is diminished, but my reason for my lack of support for PBS is that they are now a leftist political entity. I also don’t care for some of the musical entries that just are not my taste.
