My wife and I went to a annual alumni event a few years ago and the entire table ended up being us and a number of girls I dated in school. A couple of which I was still friends with. Most of them were divorced or in one case widowed, and one of the first questions they asked was what number wife she was and were surprised that we had been married for almost 40 years. She is still friends with quite a few of them.
