Only Met and Cub fans know this particular anxiety. Fortunately, we Met fans have 1969. The Year the Cubs Collapsed. Jimmy Qualls sucks.

Good to know there are a few people still out there who care this much about baseball …

The 1-1 count position, one of the great examples of articulated sympathetic magic, has fallen on hard times in recent years. btw: a left-knee wobble can sometimes bring a fielding error if it’s a home game.

My Cubs have already collapsed. At least my Red Soxs are living up to my expectations, by toying with my emotions early and then destroying my hopes in September !

Good to see such zeal, but it’s gonna be a long game at this rate

Excellent as always, but I must protest against the use of computers to assist in composing comics. I can tell the difference between something that’s all hand-drawn and something where part of the image is simply replicated in multiple panels.

Yeah, next time move the furniture around….or something. And while you’re at it, no more computer drawn or animated ANYTHING.Spend more time drawing, by hand, repetitive panels, and less time thinking up funny and entertaining story lines.
