It’s not surprising that his attempts at giving himself the nickname Flash kept crashing, It just goes to show that you can’t just plugin your own nickname.

I’m going to start calling Brian “Tintin”.

Despite everything, this is why I still keep reading this comic. I did the same thing, only I pulled it off.

Louis wants the nickname “Flash”, so is pretending he already has it. But since he’s the only source, it’s not catching on. (Generally, the more annoying/denigrating a nickname is, the faster cruel elementary school children will adopt it.)

I was “T.C.” for a while, after the Top Cat cartoons. I don’t know who started it, but it grew on me. Maybe I should have done the Maltby routine, it mighta stuck.

There was a woman at work whom we used to call “Flash”. She was always running late, making a mad dash into the building just seconds before her shift started.

They call him Flash because he’s always…flashing..

Jesus wanted to be called “Mad Jack” but nobody would call him that. After some time passed he forgave the people, so it’s cool. But if you see Him call Him Mad Jack. He would really, really like that.

Anyone else think of Jumpin’ Jack Flash from the Rolling Stones?
