As far as slavery is concerned, there’s still that pesky 13th Amendment. But I’m sure this and other problems will be corrected by the Republicans in the upcoming American 2nd Republic.

If there’s one thing I hope mericans will realize after the overturning of Roe v Wade, it’s that they can’t trust the dems to ever have their best interests in heart. Now, that’s obviously not an endorsement of the fascist right (who want to kill everyone outside their party), but it should be clear that you cannot vote your way out of this mess. “Voting blue” isn’t enough and also never was.

Democracy is dying and in a few more years, more rights will erode away.

Do you have the right to pluck, or not to pluck, your own eyebrows? The Constitution doesn’t say anything about it, but for Alito that doesn’t mean it’s up to you; he thinks it means it’s up to your state legislature, as is the question of whether you have the right to do anything not explicitly protected by the Constitution.

Sounds like a plan! Then again, wasn’t it always?

According to “original Intent” theorists, the Second Amendment DOES guarantee the right to own a muzzle-loader-as long as the owner is a member of a well-organized militia. Such as the KKK? Naw, they’re hardly ’well organized.

Panel 8 sounds like 2022 in Saudi Arabia or Afghanistan or China or… Thank God we live in this beautiful country. The first country, and one of the few in the world where slavery is actually illegal! And by the way… One of the few countries in the world who will welcome people from all countries, including the ones listed above, to come live, work and prosper. I’m pro-choice. But I’m even more “pro” the fact that we can freely talk about it!
