Straw god here. The Bible doesn’t teach literal young earth creation as it is popularly understood (though some of you are about to tell me it does), and many great Christian scholars and scientist accept and study natural selection. I understand Bollings’ contempt and frustration, but this strip makes the mistake of putting God-Man in the place of Ken-Ham. See the Biologos website for some sanity. Respect.
Could God-Man make a rock so big even He couldn’t lift it? Of course! But He’d have to get rid of the Earth and all its darn philosophers to make room for the thing!
It’s so much easier to claim that the Bible is just literal history than it is to read it for a possible philosophical message. Literalists are just lazy.

For endowing humankind with sufficient intellect to realize that He doesn’t exist, God-Man is the recipient of this year’s Darwin Award.

A wink, a nod, and a chortle — not a bad way to start the day. Thanks, Ruben!
