Sarcasm, at its maximum. Is endlessly recursive.

“I’ll only be sarcastic on day one. Also, I’ll close the border and read some of the Bible, my favorite book.”

Now I’m remembering the sarcastic guy in that Kids in the Hall sketch.

We went from the “whatever” generation, to this. From subtle ambiguity to polar ambiguity.

Capitalism is so good. It’s the greatest economic system I’ve EVER seen. Who needs socialism when the best— You get it, someone sarcastically replies the opposite to say socialism great instead of capitalism, etc back and forth into the endless void.

Yeah, really funny.

Sarcasm implies that this is so stupid, I can say it and you obviously see it’s wrong. It’s another way of saying that you must agree with me or you are stupid. It doesn’t enlighten because usually the user has no real point to make.

I am SO busted.

I’m looking for examples of Sarchasm – the gulf between the author of sarcastic wit any the target who doesn’t get it.

It’s even easier to make a statement, pause and then loudly say – NOT!
