I especially like being at peace triggering a piece of pizza.

I love his little “at peace” face!

I love how with Spud it’s all in the eyebrows.

I’m surprised he doesn’t have a hard hat!

The icicles of Damocles..!

Thank goodness for the last panel cause I just couldn’t figure today out. Was he afraid of the bird? Was he trying to get the bird to land on his hand? Ah HA! the answer is out of the picture, hanging there, just waiting to take Spud out! I feel ya Spud, they hang off our awning & i’m always knocking them down otherwise they drip & cause ice patches right in front of the door!

At first I thought it was about the “Step on a crack, break your mother’s back,” but apparently not.

That pretty much summed up my emotions when I would (past tense) read the political cartoons.

The intro panel has Spud going up the steps to Wallace’s house. I thought it was at the school for some reason. BTW, there were no icicles drawn above the door.

Oops.

Despite all the explanations about icicles, today’s strip is visually confusing. Too esoteric, gah!

Get busy, Wallace & Spud. Take a very long lance (or clam rake) and make Snug Harbor safe. Then Will can write “Klink-klink” as they knock together.

Spud’s next worry, he’s stepping on cracks. How’s your mother’s back?
