He’s not wrong… also caught on the second reading him putting one of his own boots on his hand. And look their out of options, and have at least one child who could get sick. I’m not sure if Sterling is capable of getting sick.. or dying… or feeling cold. He might be cold blooded so he could be extra vunerable. His biology is a mystery.

It’s your own fault, you should have left The Feral One out on the doorstep where you found him. But no, " It’s a tiny baby" you said……

Give the boot to Sterling. He’ll eat it.

Perhaps they should have hidden the spare key in the shed.

Boot in hand is a good idea.

As soon as he breaks the window, they’ll remember where the key is. Always happens that way.

It’s warm over at Spud’s house. Have a sit in the warmth with some cocoa while you think about it. You’ll remember the key is hanging on a nail under the deck.

Sterling will produce the key after they get back into the house.

With sons like Wallace and Sterling, there’s no question as to why Dad has extra panes of glass on hand! He’s probably a pro at replacing the glass :)

Or, is this where they find out it’s non-breakable glass, installed after the last lot of broken windows?

I still think Sterling should go down the chimney.

It’s not breaking and entering if it’s your own house.

Looks like Seagull ducked out of sight again when the potential of broken glass entered.

There’s a better idea, dad; just enter through the chimney!

Wouldn’t work for my house – we have impact glass due to living in Florida. A sledge hammer couldn’t get through it, let alone a boot.

With those two kids, that would be a good investment for them as well – besides living in a seaside village where storms should be common (unless they are afraid of Sterling too).

Wait. It’s snowing and they only have single-pane windows?? No storm windows?? What is even the point of going inside here?
