Our doc office has a rank of clerks in cubicles to check our finances, then a nurse’s office for a check up of our symptoms to decide how serious it all is, then, maybe, we get 5 minutes with the doc, who still doesn’t have our records from our last visit months ago. Fatiguing and frustrating, especially when doc recommends seeing another doc and we repeat the process.
After 50 years, nothing’s changed…It’s irritating to answer all the nurses’s questions, then the PA asks the same ones, then the doctor, who doesn’t read all the previous notes, asks the same questions. Now I write down whatever the problem(s) and hand it to the doctor.
So much has changed in 50 years. Cartoony violence was understood to be unreal. With today’s sensibilities, there’d be no Bugs Bunny (or most Warner Brothers cartoons), or the Three Stooges. Now, I can get along without the Stooges, but not Bugs Bunny and friends.
