Very true. Having been in the same position myself I leaned that some people cannot deal with change and think that insults are the way to get what they want.
I don’t do mail order, huge pain when they don’t deliver as promised, nor on time as promised or its defective. Big box stores are way easier to return that way…___________________________________
We almost never have any problems with Amazon. What’s even better, is we belong to a site where we earn points for doing everyday things, and the points can be cashed in for various gift cards or items. We always get Amazon gift cards. We then save up the cards to get something we want. Since we’re Prime members, we also have free shipping. Last year we financed our daughter’s entire birthday through this method, & it didn’t cost us a cent, and every item was perfect.
I really agree with Alexikakos about the crappy artwork. Also, the gags have been thin and poor since the new boy took over. But I thought I’d give him a fair chance to get his act in order. He hasn’t. Instead he has put his own stamp on the Wizard and, well, it just isn’t a good fit for me. All that said, I also have to agree with Sneezy Dwarf — if you don’t like it, don’t read it. That is good advice, and that is why I’m deleting the Wizard of Id from my morning comics list. It now sucks so bad that I can’t be bothered looking at it. That is unfortunate because it used to be a good comic strip.
To those who bellyache about the quality of this strip’s artwork and humor: Please go. I’ve seen better artwork on this strip too, but I’m giving the new artist plenty of time to find his groove. I have seen many a comic strip get ruined when another artist took up the strip, but in due time the strip improved or another, better artist took over the strip. What I get irritated at are comic strips that at one time were politically neutral, but became increasingly politicized over time…the comic strip ‘Mark Trail’ comes to mind.
Well, it’s for damshure we can’t bring back the original artists. For as the old English Gent said about the recent burial of his wife; “Yas. Quite dead, you know!”
I don’t think there would be a can large enough to hold the food that critter needs. Probably an old coal carrier from a freight train might be large enough…
Let’s say we could get our hands on a Delorean Time Machine from Back To The Future.
Assuming this is even possible, for all those who want to go back in time before the current artists passed away, just what date would you like to plug in before speeding away at 88 MPH?

Disagree on the art. I think it’s improved.

My cats do this when they hear the ice maker come on — they like to chase ice along the floor.
