Will they be truckers in Canada?

They are protesting for a better yard to protest in.

They are protesting having to share a cell with others while Spook gets a cell to itself.

Woody Allen once told a joke at the beginning of Annie Hall: Two old women were in a restaurant, and they were complaining about the food. One said, “Ugh, the food here tastes terrible!” And the other said, “Yes…and such small portions!”

Ah, the protestors, some people make careers out of protesting…

Once they are put in jail, do pro-testers become con-testers?

I’m just glad my nose isn’t as big as those guys.

For people in jail because they can’t pay fines for infractions (not crimes per se but things like minor traffic offenses and the like), those in for minor drug charges (where treatment or legalization might be better) or petty crimes (would you steal if you were poor and hungry?) , and those overcrowded and fed food most of us wouldn’t touch, that’s cause for being willing to protest. Now, add to that the violence and abuse from many sides that humans do to each other and you get to what might even start prison riots. Pay the price for your transgressions but that doesn’t mean people have to be crushed in both body and soul as well. That only benefits the cruel and vicious little people and little, weak minds.

Picky, picky.

The king knows how to quell the dissent, alright.

In certain places and you know where they would not be protesting the conditions of the jail for very long. Or anyplace else, for that matter.

Were they expecting it to be Club Med?

Only dictatorships arrest non-violent protesters.

Sounds like the Jan 6 crowd “Jail is no fun”

Probably the same ones demanding that their taxes be cut, because if you’re in jail you should suffer.

These prisoners just don’t know how good they have it nowadays lol
