And what is there to see that’s been obscured? Roy’s manly physique? I drew the bathrobe and left it blank for the B&W version that we send newspapers. If I had, as you suggest, “run out of time,” I would not have bothered adding the pattern. Maybe not every experiment works, but I like to try things to liven up the art and give it extra texture.
