Believe it or not, there is still one bookstore in my neighborhood that has a large section on computer programming. I took a look around, and despite over 30 years in the computer biz, I had never heard of most of the languages. Then I realized they were for programming smartphones. I retired just in time.
I’m also very glad to be retired (& 77). Back in the days of the TRS-80, I learned Basic then later taught myself all the languages used for AutoCAD (the menu and lisps). Tried and failed to learn C++ later.

Unfortunately, Rita isn’t very swift. An older way of saying she isn’t very smart.

Mostly like a cross between Objective C and Java, people familiar with both could pick up Swift in a couple hours.

Don’t give her any ideas.

Rita’s paycheck is practically approved embezzlement as it is.
